Model DB20
Industrial Bench Drill
Ø20mm drill capacity with MT2 Spindle Taper
The DB20 bench drill is a heavy duty rated industrial machine. The square working table offers more surface area to work on, and additionally allows T-nuts & clamps to be used. With a Ø20mm chuck size it is ideal for anyone needing to drill consistent accurate holes and best used in commercial factories or workshops with reasonably high workload.
Constructed mostly from cast iron and machined steel to provide superior stability and strength. Powered by a 650W, 1hp, 240-volt induction motor and coupled to a 12-belt speed pulley system offering wide range of speeds between 120-2580rpm. The down feed handle is also made from cast iron in one solid piece design and fitted with soft hand grips for your comfort & convenient drilling depth feed control.
The drill quill is equipped with a 2 morse taper spindle allowing you to fit 2MT drill bits directly to the spindle or 1MT drill bits with an optional adaptor. A quality Ø3-16mm keyed drill chuck with 2MT arbor is included & fitted. The drill table can tilt left or right, rotate 360 degrees and the height is also easily adjusted up or down via rack & pinion hand lever & can be locked into position. Furthermore, the whole table assembly can be swivelled away to allow the machined base to be used as a work support.
The magnetic safety switch with emergency stop is conveniently front mounted for quick access. The drill also includes an adjustable safety drill chuck guard and the belt cover is equipped with a safety switch to ensure safe belt speed changing.

This machine is heavy duty rated with a large drill head, a larger quill diameter for increased accuracy and the unique square table offers more surface area to work on, allowing T-nut & clamps to be used.

For larger hole sizes up to Ø32mm this belt drive machine really performs day in, day out. The DP32 pedestal drill has a large 1100W, 240-volt motor driving the spindle.
This machine is heavy duty rated for industrial use with a large drill head. The large Ø62mm quill provides support to increase accuracy and cleaner drilling, while the 475 x 425mm square table offers more surface area to work on.

Recommended Drilling Speeds
Use these drilling speeds as a basic guide for twist drills. For stainless steel, use a slower speed than recommended for steel. It is essential not to run a drill too fast on stainless steel as it will heat up easily and become hard, making it very difficult to drill.
